Denver Young Artists Orchestra (DYAO)

Established in 1977, the Denver Young Artists Orchestra strives to provide the finest possible youth orchestra programs. Our mission is to inspire and educate young musicians through the performance of great works of music, and to offer valuable cultural opportunities to our community.

Goddard Middle School

Robert Goddard was an American scientist who lived from 1882 to 1945. He is considered the father of modern rocketry. Teal and purple are the colors of the Goddard Middle School Vikings.

This school opened in January 1968 to 300 fifth and sixth graders, with 500 older children added the following fall.
